Happy New Year Everyone!!
I hope everyone enjoyed their gifts from the giveaway :) and also the two members that received their guild wishing well requests today as well!
The next day the Guild Wishing Well will grant 2 requests will be the 17th. So make sure you send in your wish to npguild_event, before then :)

Every year to celebrate the holidays the guild likes to give away something to its members :)
Annual Guild Christmas Giveaway Instructions:
1. Add npguild_event to your neofriends list
Thats it :) The guild event count just needs to know who is active and who isn't, if you've already added the account make sure it says 'accepted' instead of 'not accepted'. Just give the account a neomail if it's not accepted :)
(yes incase anyone was wondering, npguild_event now accepts neofriends)

Guild Wishing Well News:
I probably won't do any puzzles for awhile, but the wishing well is still operational to all of those that want it to be :)
I've decided that with our current budget, we should do the wishing well every other week, and have 2 wishes granted. This is ONLY POSSIBLE, if you participate.
To send a wish to the guild wishing well, you should neomail the npguild_event account, and in the subject of the neomail include 'Guild Wishing Well Request' or something like that :) Then, in the message you should include what you want. Keep in mind we will not be granting requests for Dark Rods of Nova ;)
So yet again, Neomail the npguild_event account to get your wish granted!

Other Guild News:
It's that time again, yes.. for Holiday Giveaways! :D
I'm going to organize another Guild Holiday Giveaway for Christmas, what's the catch?
You've got to be a guild member!!!!
Now is that so hard?? Well, the way it works is that you must add npguild_event to your friends list :)
Why? Because we have 180 members, and not all of them are active! Adding the npguild_event account lets us know who is active, and that way we can send you things as well :)
As the title suggests, it's a giveaway. Last year we based gifts on how active you were in the guild, this year I think I will make it more random than that :) Especially since there has not been much to be active in!
Towards the end of November I will probably have the whole giveaway plan organized so you would not need to add the guild until December :)
Also, please do not add that account and leave the guild the day after the giveaway ;) I check each and every account to make sure they are still apart of the guild before I send anything.
Other guild news? Well I updated the main page and added a new poll!
About the poll, it's talking about the Invaders of Meridell of course :) for the up coming war, having you been paying attention to the Neopets News section? Of course you have! ;)

New Bot Features
What's that? New features on Kau, our friendly channel bot? Yes, that's right!
Since the Neopets guilds are down for the time being, I decided to add a couple new features to Kau. First, an auto-limit script, which automatically limits the number of people that can be in a channel to prevent flooders, but allow all real visitors to enter.
Second, and most interesting, is a quote script. Visitors can type !quote to view a random quote, or !quote # to view a specific quote. People with usermode +v on Kau, have the ability to add quotes with the !quoteadd command. Those with +o can use the !delquote command. Everyone can type !quotehelp in the channel to receive a text file describing all of the commands.
Finally, we have some temporary channel stats up. They're updated every five minutes, but aren't really all that fancy. I may replace this script with something better at a later time. You can view them at http://neopets.retrograde.org/stats/.

#Neopets Channel News:
Recently today we've been getting flooded from Starlet/Epsilon
So the channel is limited to 15 people :) If you can't get in try messaging me (Suisei) or Retro.
Although I'd like to point out some errors in the spamming.. its always a GOOD idea to include proper grammar :)
Its very hard for me, Andria, or Retro to take you seriously when we can't even understand what you're saying!
Oh well, I hope everyone is having fun on neopets :) I love all their recent updates, especially the Defenders of Neopia! (you can get an 'easy' trophy there :)
