Hints and Tips
- Read the Neopets
News page for latest additions and changes to the
site, so as not to miss out on anything. This is
where they post information about new games and items!
- Get an account at the Neopian
Bank. It's easy to open an account, and when your
money is in the bank, it can't be stolen! Best of all,
you can collect interest on the money you put in the
bank.
- Keep your items in your safety
deposit box that comes along with your bank
account. You can keep an unlimited number of items
there, and they can't be stolen or turned into nasty
piles of sludge!
- When you're first starting out, and have less than
1,000 NP, go to the Soup
Kitchen and all of your pets can be fed completely
free.
- If you take your pets to the Training
School, try to let them take every course and don't
let any stat or level go above 19 until all the other
stats are 19 also. Once one of your stats is above 20 or
40 or 80, the classes become more expensive.
- If you play the stock
market, only invest in stocks that are at 6
NP. When they're at 6 NP, it's impossible for you
to lose money, because they can only increase in value!
- Don't rush out and buy new items from the shop wizard when they're first released. Items are often very
expensive when they're new, but if you wait a couple
days,
their price will greatly decrease.
- There are a number of places you can go to get free
items every day. You should make it a habit to visit
these every day. We have a complete list on the front
page of our website.
